A sling and a mag bag from SOF for my Thompson (if it ever arrives!). Also just "acquired" some steel and aluminium plate in preparation for my next project.

Well the pic was quite over exposed from when Yith took it, I reduced the exposure 2 steps in photoshop, desaturated it 40% (like a lot of brothers in arms was filmed like) and put an orange photo filter on it :)

Heer's my latest addition, a what looks like repo helmet I got off ebay, it looks like its poor condition but underneath the finish is perfect green paint, have re painted it & put a ss single decal on it:

helmet when I got it:

Applying paint with brush:

finished, paint still wet, I used 1 tin of grey matt 66 humbrol mixed with 1/2 a tin of green humbrol matt 116:

paint now dry but looks a bit patchy:

now apply the water slide decal, leave overnight to dry then spray with humbrol matt clear laquer, bonds the decal & the previous brush marks just disapear!

now it looks good but to new, throw it round the garden, wipe some thined humbrol mat 29 & humbrol matt black over it with a rag & it looks like this!
